Filling out your Enrollment Form is one of TWO steps. You will need to pay your Family Enrollment Fee to complete your registration. Payment will be required at the end this form and to submit your completed form. If you do not complete the payment, your enrollment will NOT be approved.

1. ACE/SHN GENERAL RULES:

We agree to be respectful to other ACE/SHN families. This rule applies to adults and children, and includes events, activities, and social media. Bullying of any kind (name-calling, physical violence, gossiping, etc.) will not be tolerated. In the event of inappropriate behavior, the offender will be submitted to the Director for review.

We agree to attend ACE/SHN events with our children. We understand that ACE/SHN is a family organization and we are not allowed to leave or drop off our child at ACE/SHN activities unless otherwise noted. You are welcome to make prior arrangements with another parent who will be responsible for your child in your absence. ACE/SHN Leaders and Team Moms cannot be responsible for another member’s child.

We agree to attend ACE/SHN events when we RSVP. Organizing field trips, classes, events, and activities takes time and energy for the administrators as well as the event managers. We will contact the administrator in a timely manner in the event we are unable to attend. If a member no shows, cancels in less than 24 hours prior to the event or is late more than 3 times, the member will receive a warning. Excessive no shows, less than 24 hour cancellations and lateness could result in suspension from attending ACE/SHN activities or enrollment removal.

We agree to not bring Tree Nut or Peanut containing products to any ACE/SHN events or activities. We have several members with severe, life-threatening allergies to peanuts and Tree Nuts. Products containing peanuts and Tree Nuts are NOT allowed at any ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network events, playdates, field trips, or activities. We are a Nut Free group.

We agree to be illness free for at least 48 hours before attending any ACE/SHN events or activities. Children and parents must be fever (even low-grade fever) free before attending a ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network activity for at least 48 hours. We also ask that you have been free of the following symptoms for 48 hours before attending: vomiting, diarrhea, skin infections, rashes, signs of infectious illness, and on-going cough. **Due to the current circumstances, we ask that family members do not attend if anyone in your household has displayed any of the above symptoms.

We agree to respect the facilities and venues ACE/SHN uses. Members are not allowed to contact the facilities ACE/SHN uses, Field Trip Hosts, Playdate Hosts, Teachers, Partners or other event Hosts for any reason. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network group director. Student members are NOT allowed inside or outside the building, or in restricted areas without adult supervision. Please be mindful of the facilities ACE/SHN uses and event hosts grounds; do not walk in flower beds, do not pick flowers or plants, do not hang on or climb any fixtures inside or outside the facilities, etc.

We understand that ACE/SHN is not responsible for the information provided by our speakers, teachers or field trip hosts. All of our events are at your own discretion. Use your best judgement on what field trips, classes, events, or workshops you attend and participate in. Any complaints should be brought to the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Networks Director. Complaints should not be made to the speaker or field trip host.

We understand that events may be canceled. If area public schools are closed due to weather, ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network may cancel as well. ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network may cancel an event for various reasons even when public schools are not canceled. Cancellations will be sent out via e-mail and text message. It is your responsibility to check to see if an event is canceled ahead of time.

We understand that there is a NO Refund policy. We understand that both the ACE/SHN enrollment and ACE/SHN membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of my participation and attendance. We understand that ACE/SHN reserves the right to decline a membership without reason or notice.

We understand that ACE/SHN events are for families enrolled into SHN. Our events and activities are for families enrolled the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network. Out-of-state guests and family members are welcome to attend as a guest with a ACE/SHN member to “Guest approved events.” Guest approved events include Field Trips (as long as the guest attending does not cause a member to miss out by filling a spot that could otherwise be used by a ACE/SHN member), Playdates and Social Days. Guests are not allowed to attend Academy Days, Farm School or Small Groups. Before bringing an approved guest to an event, please make sure the event is a “Guest approved event” with prior approval by emailing [email protected]. Ongoing attendees such as children whom you babysit or bring on a regular basis will be required to pay an Enrollment fee and turn in completed paperwork. They will not need to pay the Enrollment fee as long as they are attending with a ACE/SHN member who is paying or has paid the tuition fee.

2. ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT:

I understand that Enrollment fees are non-refundable. (If ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network chooses to decline your ACE/SHN enrollment during enrollment, you will be fully refunded.)

I understand that ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network reserves the right to decline and terminate a membership without reason or notice.

As a member of ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network, I agree to not directly or indirectly compete with the business of ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network. I agree to not use the information, events, activities and member only data that I receive during my enrollment with ACE/SHN for the purpose to copy, infringe or compete with the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network. I understand that contacting other ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network members, teachers, facilities, hosts, leaders and any other persons associated with ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network with the intent to compete with ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network, copy or share with anyone that intends to compete with the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network goes against ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network rules and will result to immediate enrollment termination without refund. I understand that legal actions may be brought against me.

3. PHOTO RELEASE: I grant ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network the right to take photographs of me and my family in connection with the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Networks activities and events. I authorize the ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

I agree that ACE: Social Homeschoolers Network may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising and web content. I understand that Group Photos may be used in advertising. I understand that during Group Photos, it is my responsibility to remove myself and my children from the the photo area.

4. LIABILITY RELEASE: IN CONSIDERATION of being a participant of the ACE (Alternate Community Education, LLC.): Social Homeschoolers Network group and being permitted to utilize the facilities the group uses

I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound for my family, do hereby:

Acknowledge that participation in Alternate Community Education, LLC. (ACE)/Social Homeschoolers Network and utilization of the facilities the group uses could expose my family to possible risks of personal injury, and I assume all risks inherent in such participation and/or utilization;
Release and agree to indemnify Alternate Community Education, LLC. (ACE)/Social Homeschoolers Network, which includes any owners, officers, leaders, staff members, employees, team moms, director and volunteers, from any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, or cost of any nature whatsoever from any and all claims by or against my family for property damage, personal injury, and/or claims arising from my family’s participation and/or utilization, including claims that are known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, future or contingent;
Agree that my family shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit, or other legal proceeding against either Alternate Community Education, LLC. (ACE)/Social Homeschoolers Network or the facilities the group uses arising out of, relating to, or in connection with the actions, causes of action, claims, and demands hereby waived, released or discharged by me;
Agree that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the rules of the Alternate Community Education, LLC. (ACE)/Social Homeschoolers Network.

Payment Instructions

We are happy you have decided to join Alternate Community Education, LLC (ACE)/Social Homeschoolers Network. The Family Enrollment Fee will be applied to the August 2023 - May 2024 School Year. In order to join you must complete the following TWO steps"

Please note: We do NOT issue refunds for the Family Enrollment Fee for any reason, regardless if you request a refund before the Enrollment year begins. By enrolling, you are agreeing to this term.

STEP 1: COMPLETE YOUR ENROLLMENT FORMS

Complete this Enrollment form, agreeing to all terms. Failure to agree to ALL terms, will result in your application being denied.

STEP 2: PAY YOUR FAMILY ENROLLMENT FEE

You will need to select either a monthly or yearly Enrollment fee option. Monthly is NOT available at this time.

You receive a $50.00 discount by paying yearly instead of monthly.

If you choose monthly, you will need to pay your first Monthly Family Enrollment $30.00. This will cover your first months due, once paid, we will add your additional monthly payments of $30.00 per month to your account. The payment plan is for 10 monthly payments which are applied to August 2023 - May 2024 and are due on the 1st of each month. SHN enrollment is a semester commitment. Failure to pay your monthly dues on time, could result in enrollment termination with no refunds.

Enrollment fees are NON-Refundable, no exceptions!
